Hand edits

Switch the map to Manual and draw the network yourself, or correct what the engine proposed. The rules are checked as you go.

What you can do

  • Place cabinets and terminals, and draw cables along streets.
  • Move a cabinet, re-home a terminal or reroute a cable.
  • Join cables, open a closure and edit its splices.
  • Select many at once, measure a route, delete in bulk.
  • Edit values in the attribute table beside the map.
  • Undo and redo every step.

Rule checks while you edit

Markers on the map show any reach, loss or capacity rule an edit breaks, the moment you make it.

Pinned edits and versions

Pinned edits survive the next automatic run, and every change is committed as a version you can go back to. When you are happy, post the design as a work order.
